This is the first product in our Survival Jewelry line - Fire Starter Earrings. They feature a flint fire starting rod set in a decorative and robust copper jacket.

Made with a copper jacket and high quality flint rod.
The copper is left in a natural state that will develop a beautiful patina with age.
 
To strike, remove the earring from your ear, grip the top loop and scrape a steel edge across the flint rod. This will produce a spark that can be used to start a fire in the right conditions.
 
Notes:
This is an attractive piece of jewelry but when it is being used to produce a spark, it should only be done so outside and under the appropriate supervision.
